Dear Lewis-
We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at the Wedding Ring Workshop with Alba last Saturday. We were a little worried at first because we didn't have a design in mind, but Alba was very helpful.
At times I was so worried about messing up, but she was there every step of the way! I still can't believe we made the rings ourselves! We took plenty of pictures so we have proof for people who won't believe us! Our rings are marvelous and we'll have diamonds added on as soon as Alba gets back from her trip! It was an awesome experience and I can't wait to tell everyone I know!

Hi, Lewis - I wanted to let you know what a fabulous time Larry and I had making our rings with Steve on March 12th - the experience was truly beyond words and we loved every minute. Steve was so down to earth and a wonderful teacher - so patient and full of great information - we loved him.
We will never forget our wedding ring workshop, it's the one piece of the seemingly thousands of wedding related mailings we got that I am so glad I actually read (and didn't toss in the trash).

This is the most amazing experience. You spend a day working with a jewelry designer and metalworker, creating your own wedding bands. You get to choose from a variety of metals, though we used beautiful 18K.
We did this yesterday, and it was incredible. Starting with a pile of gold balls, we ended with rings that we would never have been able to afford from (different company) or whatever. We were guided through the process by Alba Urbina, an amazing jewelry designer in her own right, and it was like getting to watch a master at work AND take a high-level class.
We started the day at like 9:30 am, in a beautiful studio with a mellow cat and dog looking on. First, Alba showed us different ring styles and talked us through the process. We designed our rings with her. Then we melted, poured, milled, and stamped our way to the most perfect ring we could imagine. Anything we couldn't handle, she took over -- gently and encouragingly.
They base the price on the cost of your metal of choice, so it fluctuates. But based on the ring shopping I had already done, I think what we got was, essentially, personally-designed rings at warehouse prices, and a fun, romantic, amazing day to boot.

When we first contacted The Wedding Ring Workshop, we already had
expensive platinum engagement bands from Tiffany & Co.® When it came
to the wedding rings. we knew that money wouldn't make the rings special.
The only way would be to make them for each other, from our hearts,
as a special expression of love. The jeweler at the Workshop insured
that we had nothing but the most beautiful final product. I am looking
at mine right now, and it reminds me of the special time we spent
putting ourselves into the rings we gave to each other. The Workshop
provided a safe, fun, entertaining and romantic way to make our unique
rings. We spent much less money at the Wedding Ring Workshop than
we would have at a retail store, but the end jewelry is much, much
more valuable. An heirloom worth passing for generations.

From the moment we stepped into your studio, we knew we were in the right place. Your expertise in helping us select our designs, and the real time instruction you provided while we turned those designs into reality was spot on! The friends we've shared this with are fascinated we fashioned those rings by ourselves, in fact, a few of them are envious they didn't know about this before they got married!
